Things have certainly gone swimmingly for everyone at Bramall Lane these past few weeks.

Unbeaten in the league in the last three games and keeping clean sheets in two of them, Sheffield United are proving they certainly aren’t going to be pushovers in this division.

Which is why it’s no surprise that their defence is starting to get some recognition from the pundits.

For the second week in a row, Blade right-back George Baldock has been named in Alan Shearer’s Team of the Week, although that doesn’t really come as a surprise to these fans who were full of praise for the 27-year-old.

Some were buzzing that they mooted him for a potential England call-up, urging Gareth Southgate to give him a cap.

Baldock has so far played ten times for the Blades in 2019/20. He’s currently making 1.8 tackles per game and also 2.9 clearances – via WhoScored.
