To convince everybody they’re the front-runners for this season’s Premier League title, Chelsea will have to conduct some huge business between now and the end of the summer transfer window.
There are still some notable gaps within Antonio Conte’s squad and some would even argue the starting XI, with Victor Moses representing the most obvious weak link at right wing-back.
The Nigerian international certainly didn’t disappoint last season, making the role his own. But he’s not a natural to the position and it seems inevitable he’ll be caught out at some point this term.
Perhaps as a consequence, Mirror Football linked Chelsea with two possible upgrades last week in the form of Lazio’s Antonio Candreva and Arsenal man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
With that in mind, we asked Chelsea fans which player they’d rather see Conte sign and whilst the 47-cap Italy international took 30% of the vote, it was the Gunners’ versatile midfielder who came out on top.
