West Ham United fans have urged for Adrian to be reinstalled as number one goalkeeper.
The Spaniard has not started a Premier League game since November, with Darren Randolph being preferred by manager Slaven Bilic.
The switch has not improved the defence dramatically as the club have conceded 37 league goals since Adrian was dropped.
In that time, the team have kept just three clean sheets in 20 top-flight fixtures.
In fact, Adrian has not played at all since the Hammers’ FA Cup 5-0 defeat to Manchester City on January 6.
On Wednesday night, the 30-year-old watched from the bench as Bilic’s team were beaten 3-0 by Arsenal – their fifth consecutive defeat.
Despite struggling for game time, the shot-stopper took to Twitter to deliver a positive message to fans.
This tweet sparked a reaction from supporters, who are desperate for Adrian to reclaim his spot as the team’s number one for this weekend’s game against Swansea City.
It may be worth considering for the Hammers as they are in need of some positive results given that they are just five points above the relegation zone with seven games left to play.
