Speculation regarding Ryan Kent’s future at Ibrox continues to rumble on.
His season-long loan deal is about to come to an end but there are plenty of supporters who are desperate to see the 22-year-old sign for the club on a permanent basis.
The attacking midfielder has scored six goals and provided nine assists in all-competitions this season, while offering tenacity and creativity from the flanks and occasionally in a more central role.
Whether Kent can be tempted to sign for the Gers on a permanent basis remains to be seen, but it seems plausible that he will have options from elsewhere after enjoying a decent season in Scotland.
There exists a strong contingent of Rangers fans who are determined to see him at Ibrox once again next season, and they have taken to Twitter to urge the club to land him in the summer.
After Rangers’ official page published an unrelated post about the Liverpool loanee, the fans made it abundantly clear what they want to see in the summer.
According to a report published by the Liverpool Echo in March, the Reds could demand as much as £12 million for his signature in the summer.
If that does indeed prove to be the case, there could be some very disappointed Rangers fans.
