Nelson, an Arsenal academy graduate, has appeared in 14 matches across all competitions in the ongoing season under Mikel Arteta and was handed his first Champions League start against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday.
After the match where the Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw, the winger clarified if he wants to stay back at the club or try to make a move out in the January transfer window.

Speaking to , after the Champions League clash, about his loan spell at Feyenoord during the 2021/22 season, Nelson said, "I have a good relationship with the coach [Arne Slot]. I helped them a few years ago and that was a great time. I was able to develop really well."
When asked if he is planning to make a move back to the Dutch club, the player replied, "I have signed a new contract with Arsenal, this is where my heart is at the moment."

Earlier in the summer, the English player signed a new long-term contract with the Gunners that will keep him at the club until 2027.
The 24-year-old has been with the north London side since the age of eight. Due to the presence of players like Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard in his squad, Arteta has failed to provide him with enough game time in the ongoing campaign. His only goal this season came in the team's 1-0 win over Brentford in the Carabao Cup.
